While it's always fun to experiment with different herbs and spices to create new and exciting meals, for the everyday meals I try to develop recipes that use the same basic set of spices in new and interesting ways. This way you always have tasty meals that feel fun and different, yet you don't have to invest a lot of time and money into spices that will go bad before you ever use them.
Here is my list of must have spices! All are readily available at most local supermarkets or national chain stores. Most are also available on-line for purchase and I will include links here for your reference. However, as always, be sure to check sizes and prices to make sure you get what most fits your needs.
