  • jarred minced garlic
  • olive oil
  • rice vinegar
  • dried basil
  • Celtic salt or kosher salt

How To Make Marinated Tomatoes…

  1. Toss together in a glass bowl until combined
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving

Is your summertime herb garden growing like crazy? Add fresh herbs instead of dried to your marinade. You can also add some red pepper flakes for some heat. The results will taste great!

Out of rice vinegar? No problem! Just add substitute some apple cider vinegar or lemon juice into the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz grape tomatoes halved lengthwise
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon celtic salt or kosher salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Toss together in a glass bowl until combined
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs instead of dried, if desired
  • Optional:  red pepper flakes 
  • Substitute apple cider vinegar or lemon juice for rice vinegar
  • Substitute cherry tomatoes / heirloom tomatoes if desired
