Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers

Need an appetizer perfect for the big game but so easy you can whip it up for any occasion? These Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers take only 4 ingredients and 20 minutes!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound jalapeno peppers 5-6 peppers
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 6 slices center cut bacon

Instructions

  • Cut off stem end of jalapeno and cut in half legnthwise
  • Remove ribs and seeds using a sharp knife
  • Mix together cream cheese and apricot preserves until smooth
  • Place cream cheese mixture in disposable zipper bag and cut off tip
  • Use bag to pipe mixture into jalapeno halves
  • Cut bacon in half and wrap each cut piece around jalapeno half leaving seam on bottom
  • Place in single layer in air fryer basket
  • Cook at 360 degrees for 10 minutes or until jalapenos are tender and bacon is cooked

Notes

  • Place cream cheese mixture in plastic bag then cut tip and pipe into jalapeños for easier filling
  • Switch up the flavor!  Swap the type of preserves you use
  • Adjust cooking time as needed based on size of jalapenos
  • Poppers are done when they are crisp tender, bacon is cooked, and filling is bubbly 
  • Store in airtight container in fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in microwave for a few seconds.
