Air Fryer Sausage Patties

Homemade sausage patties that only take minutes? Yes! These chicken sausage patties made with diced peppers and shallot along with ground chicken take only about 10 minutes and are much healthier because they are air fried!

Instructions

  • Mix ground meat and other ingredients in a small bowl by hand until well combined
  • Form meat mixture into 6 round sausage patties
  • Spray air fryer basket with non-stick spray
  • Add patties in a single layer
  • Cook at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes until cooked through, flipping once halfway through cooking time

Notes

  • Use white meat for leaner patties, white and dark mix for more flavor
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon salt if seasoning blend doesn't have it
  • Remove ribs and seeds from pepper unless you prefer more spice you can leave some in
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for more heat
  • If air fryer starts to smoke, add a couple of tablespoons of water in the bottom of the tray that collects the grease
  • Make ahead and freeze until ready to cook
  • Cook from frozen by adding extra time
  • Leftovers can be frozen for up to 3 months
  • Can easily double this recipe and cook in batches
