The Best Grilled Turkey Burgers

You've probably seen recipes for turkey burgers that claim to be the best but have a million ingredients required. Thankfully you can make the best, juiciest, grilled turkey burgers using only 4 ingredients -- and they come out perfect every time!

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 2 small jalapeno peppers ribs and seeds removed
  • 3 oz red onion
  • 1 tablespoon jarred minced garlic
  • lettuce onion, mayo and buns for serving


  • Preheat grill to medium high heat (ensure grates seasoned well to prevent sticking)
  • Finely dice the jalapeno and onion (I like to use my mini chopper to make this easy)
  • In a large bowl mix turkey, peppers, onions and garlic  gently with hands until combined
  • Divide into 6 equal pieces and roll into balls
  • Press flat, shaping the sides as you go into round burger patties about 3/4 inch thick
  • Place on preheated grill for 8 minutes
  • Flip and cook for 6-8 additional minutes until burgers are cooked through


  • For easy flipping, ensure grill grates are well seasoned or oiled.
  • Carefully transfer the burgers using a metal spatula.
  • Ensure internal temperature has reached 165 degrees F.
  • Use Ninja Mini Chopper or mini food processor for faster prep.
