The Best Grilled Turkey Burgers
You've probably seen recipes for turkey burgers that claim to be the best but have a million ingredients required. Thankfully you can make the best, juiciest, grilled turkey burgers using only 4 ingredients -- and they come out perfect every time!
Servings 6 burgers
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 2 small jalapeno peppers ribs and seeds removed
- 3 oz red onion
- 1 tablespoon jarred minced garlic
- lettuce onion, mayo and buns for serving
Preheat grill to medium high heat (ensure grates seasoned well to prevent sticking)
Finely dice the jalapeno and onion (I like to use my mini chopper to make this easy)
In a large bowl mix turkey, peppers, onions and garlic gently with hands until combined
Divide into 6 equal pieces and roll into balls
Press flat, shaping the sides as you go into round burger patties about 3/4 inch thick
Place on preheated grill for 8 minutes
Flip and cook for 6-8 additional minutes until burgers are cooked through
For easy flipping, ensure grill grates are well seasoned or oiled.
Carefully transfer the burgers using a metal spatula.
Ensure internal temperature has reached 165 degrees F.
Use Ninja Mini Chopper or mini food processor for faster prep.
