Skillet Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

1 pound ground turkey sausage 1 3/4 cups flour 2 cups chicken broth 3/4 cup heavy cream 1/2 teaspoon chicken seasoning blend like Montreal Chicken 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon sugar 6 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup buttermilk
Brown turkey sausage in large oven proof skillet over medium high heat until fully cooked and browned
Stir in 1/4 cup flour
Slowly add chicken broth while stirring until smooth and flour fully incorporated
Add cream, 1/2 teaspoon salt and chicken seasoning
Let simmer and thicken for 5-7 minutes, remove from heat
Add remaining flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar to bowl
Melt butter and let cool slighly
Stir milk into cooled butter
Add butter mixture to dry ingredients in bowl and mix by hand until just incorporated
Drop dough by spoonfuls on top of sausage gravy in skillet
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until biscuit topping is lightly browned
