Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound brussels sprouts, halved
  • spray canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 5 slices center cut bacon

Instructions

  • place brussels sprouts in bowl and spray with a couple of spritzes of oil until just lightly coated
  • Toss with lemon pepper seasoning
  • stack bacon and cut strips in half lengthwise and widthwise so that each pieces becomes 4 pieces
  • wrap each Brussels sprout half with a piece of the bacon and place seam side down in air fryer
  • place in air fryer at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes depending on size of sprouts, checking every 5 minutes until tender

Notes

Recipe Tips:

  • check your lemon pepper seasoning for salt - if no salt included add 1/2 teaspoon
  • you can often find bags of halved Brussels sprouts in the produce department as a time-saver, if not simply cut off ends and then slice and then remove loose outer leaves
  • no need to secure bacon with toothpicks just wrap and place seam side down, it will shrink when cooking and stay on sprouts
