1 pound 96% lean ground beef 1 green bell pepper diced 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 tablespoons ancho chili powder 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons cumin 1 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon all-spice 15 oz tomato sauce 1 large butternut squash 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 oz sharp cheddar cheese optional
Get Recipe Ingredients
Add ground beef to skillet and let brown while breaking apart with spatula
Add diced green onion as soon as meat starts to cook
Once meat is fully cooked drain off any excess fat and add spices and tomato sauce
Let simmer for 10 minutes
Remove bulb portion from butternut squash and set aside
Peel remaining portion and remove stem
Using spiralizer and desired blade to make noodles
Cook noodles in 1 tablespoon of olive oil in fresh skillet over medium high heat for about 5 minutes or until tender
Serve noodles topped with chili and cheese or as desired
