Herb-marinated air fryer chicken skewers are a fun twist on a simple chicken entrée! Pop them into the basket after a tangy, herbal marinade, and get juicy, tender results in minimal time. Pair the chicken with rice, veggies, or serve over a fresh salad!
Cut chicken into bite-size chunks (about 1 ½ inches each)
In a bowl, mix together all remaining ingredients - except herb and garlic seasoning
Add chicken to bowl and toss to coat with seasonings
Refrigerate to let chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes
Meanwhile, soak small wooden skewers in water
Thread chicken onto skewers and sprinkle with herb and garlic seasoning
Add chicken skewers in a single layer to the air fryer and cook at 380 ℉ for (8-12 mins) until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 ℉
Notes
Remove the chicken from the skewers and store the pieces in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
For best results, reheat in the air fryer at 350 ℉ for 3-5 minutes, in the oven at 375℉ for 10 minutes, or in the microwave in short bursts to prevent drying out.
Always cook chicken to an internal temperature of 165 ℉ for safety.
Do not cook from frozen.
Keep the pieces evenly sized for uniform cooking on the skewers and don’t overcrowd to allow for proper airflow.
