Ingredients

Instructions

  • Slice chicken tenders into thirds lengthwise (making them nugget size)
  • Beat eggs in a bowl until smooth
  • Crush chips, breadcrumbs, and seasoning into consistency of fine crumbs using a food processor or chopper
  • Spray basket of air fryer generously with avocado spray
  • Dip chicken into the egg wash, then into the crumb coating.
  • Place the nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer.
  • Spray nuggets generously with avocado spray
  • Cook at 380 ℉ for 10-12 minutes, flipping once, until chicken is cooked through and coating is crispy and golden

Notes

  • Store leftover nuggets in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, and reheat in the air fryer at 350℉ for 3–5 minutes or in the oven at 375℉ for 8–10 minutes.
  • Blending the breadcrumbs with the potato chips helps create a crisper exterior.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket to allow space for air circulation.
  • Flip the nuggets with tongs halfway through for even browning on both sides.
  • Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165 ℉.
