Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 bell peppers cut into strips
  • 1/2 red onion cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons fajita seasoning

Instructions

  • Toss sliced chicken and peppers with olive oil and seasoning until well coated
  • Add chicken and peppers to air fryer basket
  • Cook at 380 ℉ for 15-20 minutes until cooked through
  • Serve with tortillas, cheese, and sour cream or as desired

Notes

  • Store leftover fajitas in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350 ℉ for 4–5 minutes or warm up in a skillet with a splash of broth.
  • Slice chicken and veggies into uniform strips to cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket and cook in batches for the best caramelization.
  • Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165 ℉.
  • Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking.
