Wish your family would eat more veggies? Or that side dishes didn’t add so much extra work to dinner time? Air Fryer Asparagus is the answer!
This is a simple, basic recipe that yields delicious results. Even my kids love this asparagus recipe. I make it often because it pairs well with so many main dishes and is quick to throw together.
Ingredient Notes
- I prefer the thinnest asparagus spears I can find. If you use thicker ones they may not be as tender.
-
Most lemon pepper seasoning will also include salt. If yours doesn’t you will need to add a pinch or two of salt.
Preparation Notes
-
To remove the ends from your asparagus, pick one spear and snap of the end by hand where it breaks easily
-
This will be your guide to pile up and trim the rest of the spears with a knife
-
Toss the spears with oil and layer in the air fryer
-
While cooking, check and shake the basket a few times and cook just until desired doneness
Equipment Notes
- I used my 5.8 quart Cosari Air Fryer for this Recipe
Recipe Notes
-
Some people prefer more tender asparagus and some prefer it to still have a little crunch
