Air Fryer Frozen Tater Tots
I’ve made a lot of tater tots in my life, and by far the best results come from my air fryer! These Air Fryer Frozen Tater Tots are quick, crispy, flavorful, and perfect for family dinner night!
Do tater tots taste better when made in the air fryer? Making frozen tater tots in the air fryer is so much quicker and easier than cooking them using any other method! Plus, when you use an air fryer to make frozen tater tots, you get consistent results every time. (No more mushy tots!)
Ingredients
Should I use frozen or thawed tater tots in the air fryer? Frozen tater tots work best in an air fryer. They won’t crisp up the way you want them to if you start with thawed ones. When buying frozen tater tots, be sure to check the ingredients on the package — try to buy an organic brand with minimal ingredients and no additives or preservatives. The fewer ingredients in your tots, the better your results will be.
How should I season my tater tots? You have so many options for seasoning your tater tots. They can be customized to suit anyone’s tastes! Want to be adventurous? Try my homemade taco seasoning or Cajun seasoning on your tots. If you prefer simpler flavor combinations, a bit of seasoned salt or some ranch seasoning will do the trick.
Preparation
How do I make my tater tots crispier? You can give your tater tots a little extra crispiness by spraying them very lightly with avocado oil spray.
Serving Suggestions
What’s the best way to serve Tater Tots? Serve tater tots up with air fryer or grilled burgers, sandwiches, or any number of main dishes for a tasty meal the kids will love!
