Sriracha Mayo

You are only 3 ingredients and 4 tiny steps away from the tastiest sauce you can make! The Sriracha Mayo is simple, spicy and the perfect topping for your favorite dishes that need a little zing!Sriracha Mayo in white bowl

Anyone else a mayo addict like me? 🙋🏻‍♀️ This simple sauce is perfect for when you want to take things up a notch and spice up your life (or at least your dinner!).  With 3 simple ingredients that you can always keep on hand, this sauce is quick and easy to make in less than 5 minutes.  Just whisk and go!

I love eating this Sriracha Mayo on so many different things.  Not only does it work well to spice up a burger or sandwich, but it goes perfectly with veggies like my Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts.  I like to make a little bowl with Farro, add the veggies on top and drizzle with tons of this sauce.  There’s a good chance this qualifies as my favorite lunch.

What ingredients do you need to make Sriracha Mayo?

  • mayo of course! I consider myself a mayo snob, and I prefer Hellmann’s over all others.  Duke’s is also great if you want something sugar free.  If you need an avocado oil based mayo, Primal Kitchen is a good option.
  • Sriracha sauce – a spicy condiment that’s become insanely popular over the last few years, it’s a blend of peppers, vinegar and other ingredients to make a delicious sauce.  Huy Fong is the brand I’ve found at every major grocery store I’ve shopped at.
  • Lemon juice – fresh squeezed is always great! But since I don’t always have lemons sitting around in my fridge, I always keep a bottle of lemon juice on hand.  Not only do I use it in sauces like this, but also in recipes like lemon basil chicken and lemon dressing!

What else do I need to make Sriracha Mayo?

Thankfully this super easy recipe needs only a bowl, a whisk (or even just a fork) and something to store it in.

I am obsessed with these squeeze bottles! I’ve tried them all and these are my favorite.  The opening is large enough not to get clogged by the peppers in the Sriracha and they don’t drip at all.

I use them for the plain mayo that I buy in bulk at Costco as well, because they are easy to fill, you can store them squeeze end down (⬆️ no leaking) for quick use on sandwiches, etc.

Other important recipe notes:

  • if stored properly this will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days
  • you can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the amount of Sriracha sauce
  • if you don’t have lemon juice at all, try lime juice or even a little water instead
